Pro: - Cala mesquida is a nice area, not too many constructions you can enjoy the beach and Mountain View.

The view mostly mountain, very partial sea view is nice as well. Con, so many of those: - First of all, the food is really bad.

Breakfast is the worst but overall the quality of the ingredients is very low and some of the cooking is questionable very salty.

Same goes with the drinks, poor ingredients makes for bad cocktails, a lot of sugar, some alcohol, and a chemical taste. The cost of the all-inclusive is reasonable, I would strongly suggest improving the food quality even if it means rising the cost of the AI a bit… I doubt it will be done, I understand that most of the clients are German and it might already be a small improvement compared to home ; ;.

At the buffet restaurant, you had to wait quite a bit to be served, main dishes were missing for long periods, messing up with a la carte orders often occurs.

Worst is how unclear everything is. Almost nothing was explained at reception and when asking the staff in charge their English speaking skills were way too low to be of much help, actually sometimes they were confusing.

Also some too many of the staff were not really friendly. Still, of course, some were very friendly and professional German guy Andrea, for instance.

The roof top terrace completely lacks privacy; you have direct view on the neighboring terrace while standing which is a disappointment.

Sometimes called minipool sometimes Jacuzzi in the brochures it is in fact a Jacuzzi by design but converted into a minipool by will of the hotel.

If you were thinking of watching the stars in the jaccuzzi, think twice, you will freeze. We understand that the hotel is not responsible for how selfish human being are but there should at least be some warning in the pool area against such behavior.

Not once in our 5 days journey we were able to lay on a pool bed… - Small addition, the stairs to the roof top terrace of the royal terrace room are very steep, the first four steps are made of slippery stones with no handrail.

My wife sled fell on the way down as she was wearing slippers and were not cautious enough… only bad bruises but it could have been worst, beware if you have trouble moving around.

We were lucky to stay at this hotel from July through to August A beautiful hotel set within beautifully kept grounds.

Every member of staff from the efficient site technicians handy men , the never resting room cleaners, reception, shop ladies, the massivley hardworking bar and restaurant staff to the brilliant Animation team.

All worked tirelessly in the heat with face masks and covid precautions to ensure every guest had an amazing holiday.

The hotel has everything you need for a family.. A gym, a spa retreat, indoor sports bar with all sports shown.

A two week rolling nighttime entertainment rota on the outdoor stage with table service to keep your drinks topped up by the brilliant waiting team.

A shaded kids park with rubber flooring. Literally everything a family needs for a memorable holiday. The hotel itself is located about 2 minute walk to the golden sands and crystal waters of playa de muro beach, plenty of mini supermarkets, clothes shops etc within 2 or 3 minutes walk too.

Breakfast has everything and is buffet style. Lunch at the shaded pool restaurant is table service and a choice of a la carte evening terrace restaurant or a seperate buffet style restaurant with themed nights and huge choice of meats, fresh fish, veg rice and pasta dishes along with kids favourites and gluten free sections.

Garden rooms with hammocks, jaccuzzis, four poster garden beds. Options for all tastes and budgets. Book your holiday at Viva Blue, you will not regret it.

We were there for 16nts 2 Adults and 2 teenagers and I must say, the only disappointment worth noting, it was not long enough!!

The hygiene and distancing measures in place are extremely good and we felt very safe indeed. The staff are nothing short of brilliant. Extremely attentive where needed, while giving every guest the space and relaxation they desire.

We were absolutely delighted with the hotel. We booked adjacent privilege rooms. They were lovely and suited our needs perfectly.

The hotel is beautiful with a stunning pool area surround by terraces and flower lined walkways.

The kids loved the four pools and the water slides. The food was fabulous. We were all inclusive. The pool bar served delicious lunches and the food in the buffet was excellent.

There is also an amazing al la carte restaurant and plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel. We ate at one of these, a fantastic grill named Boy.

The hotel has adapted incredibly well to COVD They have introduced measures to make social distancing possible at all times.
